Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy includes performing diagnosis and therapeutic measures of a wide range of upper gastrointestinal tracts. These upper GI tracts include organ-like the esophagus, stomach, and small intestine. However, to perform such a high-quality examination, the doctor must have mastered a variety of cognitive and technical aspects. During the process, the doctor passes the instrument through the mouth and throat of the patient, which then enters the esophagus. - Diagnostic and therapeutic lower gastrointestinal endoscopy colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is a process carried out by individuals to find any signs of change or abnormalities in the rectum or large intestine. You may also need to go through the process in conditions of pregnancy, heart problems, lung issues, allergies, and diabetes.

During the process, the doctors insert a small, flexible and light tube into the lower digestive tract of the patient. Advance therapeutic ERCP is a type of study of the duct that leads to the drainage of the pancreas and liver. Ducts is from where the pancreas and liver drain. The drainage duct of the pancreas is known as a pancreatic duct. On the other hand, the drainage duct of the liver is known as a biliary duct. When these join together, it drains everything into the upper bowel part of the stomach. The opening from where they drain is known as papilla. Once drained, it becomes very easy for the doctors to perform tests and look into the gastrointestinal areas of the intestines, and stomach. It also helps to look into organs like the pancreas, liver and gall bladder.

In the process, the doctors insert a flexible thin tube with an attached camera into the body, also known as endoscopes. Moreover, one balloon is attached to it, which inflates when the doctors want to have a close view of the stomach, esophagus, and a part of the small intestine.
